The chicks are hatching!

mrs Doyle the massive cochin has been sitting for 21 days and early this morning we were rewarded with our first chick. Now there are four with a potential four left to hatch.

Happy days!

Any more bramble?

Just the four, so cute. Two didn't hatch, one little died quickly and another died in shell. Sniff. Brought a lot of meaning to Easter.

The quads are doing well. Mum is purring with pride!
