Do your chickens unearth items whilst scratching?

We have had:

Various bits of crockery, some of it quite pretty.
Nails
Bits of glass
Pieces of Victorian pipes
Plastic soldiers
A very old belt buckle

Nope - but I think that is to do with the fact that our garden looks like Steptoe's Yard, so anything unearthed would not look unusual :o.

recently a dead dried out frog, which they had great fun fighting over

very glad that ds wasnt here. they looked just a little bit too gleeful for comfort!

I've kept the bits of crockery and may one day get round to making a 'chicken mosaic' out of them

Plastic bags and glass are favourites of my girls - always worries me they are going to hurt themselves on something. Oh and an old enamel plate this week .
