Daft girls

I am under no illusions about the intelligence of my little madams. But today - I saw one out in the garden and discovered they had dug a hole under the fence. Clever you might think - until I saw my Speckled Sussex stuck halfway in and halfway out in the hole. Of course, she couldn't go backwards and free herself - that would be using too many brain cells!

Any other daft behaviour?

Blimey - yours are going to Oxford and mine will be sweeping the streets.

(But I love them to pieces - they are spoilt!)

When I was growing up, we learnt that the chickens on the farm only had two interests; murder and suicide. Maybe it was the larger numbers.
