Allotments

We are considering an allotment and have been considering chickens for some time. Does anyone keep their chickens on their allotment and does it work for you, the chickens and surrounding people?

We are allowed chickens on our allotment but have decided against them as you have to agree to go every day which we couldn't. Also, we have quite a lot of vandalism at our allotments but chickens do still seem to be very popular.
