Broody chicken - sin bin in frost?!?!

Our light sussex bantam has gone broody. Again. She's a nightmare!

Normally I'd put her in the sin bin and let her cool off. But it's flippin' freezing outside. No snow here yet, but frost all day and all night. Will she be OK out all night in it? Or do I hang in there and hope she'll snap out of it because it's just not the weather to breed?

She is coming out from time to time when I let them out in the garden, so I don't think she's starving, but she's pretty stubborn normally and she's hogging the nest box.

Ah, I'd just leave her to get on with being broody to be honest - I wouldn't leave mine out in this.

Maybe, if you're set on breaking her, move the Sin-Bin to the garage or something?

Crikey - broody in this weather is impressive.

I'd let her be to be honest - egg production is down anyway at this time of year, and I suspect she'll sort herself out soon enough in this weather!
