Stoke Air Ambulance Charity

I've been donating to Stoke Air Ambulance for nearly 2 years.
This charity has now been disbanded, seemingly never having an active helicopter etc.
Can I ask for a refund?
Anyone else involved??

Were they registered with The Charities Commission?

As far as I can tell yes....

I have no idea about a refund. Does another air ambulance cover that area now? Was the donated money transferred to them?

i don’t know whether you could contact your bank and get a ‘chargeback’ for services not provided.

There is a separate Midland air ambulance, no relation.

I've read that the monies are going to other charities, but I'd like my money to go to a charity of my choosing.
It's theft!
