Hi

Not due for a while, but as i'm living away from UK until before baby is born, I won't get a chance to really try stuff out... so relying on reviews!

I've seen the Skip Hop Duo bag online which looks fab - but wondered if anyone had it?

Also like the look of the storksak...

It's going to be a birthday present for me from hubby - so i figure I (he) can pay a little bit more if neccesary - last year i got a handbag - how things change!!!

Thanks Hayley x

find a big handbag that you love, buy some seethru cosmetic bags to go in it and a seperate changing mat. Buy the handbag you love. honest, nappy bags are the biggest con.

I have the skip hop duo and it's great...there's loads of room and loads of good sized pockets for stuff and it has some little clips on each side of the shoulder strap which means it securely clips to the handle and hangs across the back of the pram.

I also like that it has magnetic closures so no faffing about with zips and fasteners when you have your hands full of baby poo.

Having said that (and with the benefit of hindsight - DD is now 6 months old) I do agree with Libra, especially when I'm getting all my stuff ready to go out.

Sometimes I think it'd be easier if I was just stuffing everything in my handbag instead of having the changing bag and my handbag and then juggling 2 bags. However I need a bag for when DD is with DP or the grandparents and me and my handbag are not around - DP doesn't mind being seen with the skip hop one

That's true, get the free one from boots for them and a nice one for yourself!

(p.s the clip things on the skip hop ARE useful but you can buy v. similar things for any handbag)

Just don't get the Storksak Jess whatever you do - it's great space-wise but I got it in red and it faded badly and frayed in a few months... BOO!

Thanks for the advice - as it's going to be a present, i think I'm def. leaning towards Skip Hop....
