i have contacted the customer service teams for Bababing, Storksak and Skip*Hop who all say not to machine-wash their bags. Bababing was the most helpful as they gave info on how to wash the bag as a once-off (ie not to be done regularly but in the event of a total disaster spillage it could be done). Surely someone makes a bag that is machine washable?!
