Looking on auto trader, etc for a secondhand car with 7 seats (the back two will only be used very occasionally).

Budget about £8,000. Need 3 isofix across the middle. Would like a generous boot that can hold buggy, scooter and a bike. Essential criteria are (1.) leather seats, and (2.) a panoramic sunroof.

It’s looking like it’s going to be a Citroen (though I’ve read quite a few bad reviews on here). Alternatives are Alhambra or Ford Galaxy though they are more expensive. Is the Citroen as bad as reviews make out?

Just to add - it’s the Citroen c4 Grand Picasso I mean

I had a C4, it was fine but I ended up with one baby on the front seat (also isofix) and the other two next to each other in the middle row, and then that way I could still get granny and husband etc into the third row. If you have all three seats across the middle row you can’t access the third row. Also the boot is tiny if the third row is in use.

Other options at the time at twins club were the Merc Vito/Viano, and anything else that had 6 seats rather than 7, as they tend to be sort of “captain chairs” with a walk through in between.

Our third row will rarely ever be used so I’m happy with the three across the middle row. Thanks for getting back to me.

Thank you for getting back to me. Found a suitable C4 Picasso, and going to swap the fabric seats out for leather ones which we found on eBay
