From Lancashire to Woking

Roughly 2hrs each way.

Aberystwyth to Southampton.

Aberystwyth to Peterborough, there and back in a day.

Knebworth to Pwllheli round trip. Nearly ten hours driving with a few coffee stops

herts to Dorset, so about 6 hours total

Herts to Hull and back again.
Herts to Norfolk and back again.

Dundee to Peterborough and back in a day. Long time ago.

3 hours each way

and we do it regularly. MIL is too frail to manage public transport

About 335 miles, to drop someone off at an airport - then picked them up a week later and the ungrateful cow moaned about having to sit in the back as my husband was there as well

My dh is driving back from Aberystwyth right now. Left Nottingham at 1pm to drop dd off and hopes to be home at 9.30.

Cambridge to Newcastle and back again.

bloody brutal journey

University drops were 2.5 hours each way, dropping off for armed forces was 4 hours but just once

Regularly drive Surrey to Lancashire to pick up a disabled relative, about a 10/12 hour round trip

Crewe to Heathrow. I wasn't actually dropping off, just keeping a mate company (on a train then at the airport).

Crewe to Taunton to London to Taunton (day 1) to Crewe (day 2). To pick up and drop off friend so we could go to the opera.
