Do you have an Audi A3?

I need a new car and am looking at the Audi A3. I do have children but don’t need anything big, hatchback is more than sufficient for our needs.

I’m just wondering how people have found Audi and the A3 in particular for reliability? Have had a year of unexpected car costs and it’s done my head in! Never owned an Audi.

The petrol manual version, but eyeing up the tech pack pro.

I have one. An old one and I think they have changed a bit. It has been reliable but really it is too small and uncomfortable in the bank for long journeys unless your kids are very small. Also people automatically assume you drive like a dick which I don't really.

I used to have an A3 convertible - I absolutely loved that car - I only got rid of it because it was impractical with a large dog! I now have an S3 which I can thoroughly recommend. It drives beautifully, is very comfortable and looks good too. In between those two,I had a Mercedes AMG 200 which came nowhere near either Audi on any level, apart from the Satnav which was superior.

@Poppingbymy teens have got this far with just a hatchback so I’m sure it’s fine size wise, we just can’t justify a bigger car, big cars are a pet peeve of mine!

@PistachioTiramisuwould love to go up to an S3 but our other car is a sportier engine so really needed something with a kinder mpg for this one! I’m glad you like it though, just feels like it ticks all the boxes on paper. Yet to test drive.
