Anyone got a BYD? Thoughts?

I think they look great! Wanted to know what owners think?

I don’t own one but I had one as a hire car for a few weeks and it was great. It is a little “plasticky” inside and quite a lot of blue lights but that’s kind of to be expected at the price point. Was comfortable and spacious and coped really well on snowy roads. My friend also has one in the UK and really likes it. People are snobby about them because they’re Chinese and have a slightly shit name but people also used to be snobby about Kia’s and they are the absolute bomb IMO- cannot beat a Sportage for reliability and also a pretty nice drive. I think BYD are likely to become totally mainstream in UK within a few years because they’re priced so well for the spec.
