Hi I'm looking at my next lease hire. I want electric but trying to keep costs down yet still have a car for 2 teenagers in the back etc. the Tesla 3 is a great price but I'm aware you "need" to part a monthly subscription on Teslas, but what for? Without the subscription am I still able to connect my (android) phone, use Google maps etc? In my current car I use Spotify from my phone, Google maps from my phone, WhatsApp etc and that's about it...can I really not do this without paying more per month? Thanks

If you have teenagers I would definitely look at the Y series and not the 3. My teens struggle to fit comfortably in my partners. You can use it without a monthly subscription

The price of all electric cars fall massively .I have got a Mercedes EQB -can be up to 7 seater .
Best car ever but was £60k new and now worth £26 k a year later .
still love it though and so cheap to charge at home overnight .Octopus .

We don’t have the subscription - only disadvantage I can see is that you don’t get live traffic on the navigation system but I just use Waze on my phone. Agree the Y is better for back seat space, especially if your teens are tall.
