7 Seater cars/vans for 4 child car seats

Hi there

I'm looking for recommendations for a 7 seater car or van that will fit 4 car seats- I will soon have 4 children under 5years!.

Can you tell me about accessibility to the rear seats without disrupting middle row of car seats, boot/luggage room.

If you get a VW sharan or seat Alhambra (same car) you could put the older two in the back row and fold down the middle seat of the middle row for them to get in, then one baby by each rear door. All five back seats have isofix and are equally sized. The sliding rear doors are also handy for car parks.

I have a SEAT Alhambra and four kids and I love it. In fact I have had two Alhambras, with a Volvo XC90 in between, and the Alhambra is my absolute favorite car.

I have also had a VW Touran. To me, the Sharan/Alhambra is so far superior to the Touran that it is absolutely worth the extra money.

Sliding doors are a godsend for loading kids and luggage in the back.

We also camp, and I spent ages analysing boot capacity. I am 99% certain the Sharan/Alhambra is the largest boot space without getting a van. It is absolutely a bigger boot than the Volvo XC90.

Love the XC90. Wouldnt have anything else.

We got the citreon grand c4 spacetourer and love it. Have the option to put roof box on the top. Back seats are easy to get into while still leaving a really big boot. Perfect for us. And reasonably priced considering it's a 7 seater x
