Single justice procedure notice

Daughter got stopped by police for not having a Valid MOT and tyre with ply or cord showing. She has been sent a single justice procedure notice. I feel bad for her as it was her mums car and she just borrowed it to go to work that day. Also she passed her driving test only 1 year ago so six points would meet she would have to redo her driving test. Wondering if anyone knows what the penalty points and fine may be. Also could she please not guilty on grounds she borrowed the car from her mum or would it be best to plead guilty and then mention this in the notes.
thanks guys

What offences is she being charged with? Both of these would normally be fixed penalties with the lack of MOT being non-endorsable so you’d expect 2 x £100 fines and 1 x 3 points.

How come she didn’t spot the tyre before she drove it?
