My car bonnet and bumper are not magnetic. How to attach L plate?

Just that really.
Wanting to start teaching my son to drive and the magnetic L plate sticks to the back just fine but won't stick to the front bonnet or bumper.
What is the best solution?

Peel ones, like proper stickers

Will that damage the paintwork?

We used to put those in the windows

Any other suggestions please?

We used suction plate ones, which didn't cause damage and stayed on: amzn.eu/d/8Qwph2M

We also taped or blue tacked magnetic ones them to the inside of the front and rear windows before we discovered the suction one.

I had the same problem and bought a set from Halfords that came specifically with ties to tie it on to the front grill (or you can peel the back off and it’s sticky) and it worked amazingly on the front. It was useful to have a spare pare of L plates anyway so I kept the magnetic ones for the back and the tie on ones for the front.

Zip tie it to the radiator or put it in the front window where the tax disc used to live.

Well that's a bit rude, how about saying thanks for the suggestions you've had?

I wouldn't rely on magnetic L plates. I had them back in the 80s and I remember them flying off when the wind was at the right angle to catch them.

Blue-tac it to the inside of the rear window.
