Volvo XC40

Hi lovely people,
Any regrets re Volvo XC40 B3 petrol hybrid?
Concerns:
Prefer the light theme to the dark with the green colour, but think light theme is pretty rare
Poor MPG
Uncomfortable back seats
Boring?
Rear-facing car seats fitting - I'm 5'11 and husband is 6'3.5

@milwife Ive just read the review of this car on What Car. They give it 5 stars. It has lots of room and they don’t agree with you regarding seats. They like the interior. They recommend the dark theme in exactly the car you suggest as their Best Buy. The B3P Plus. They say the boot is large and the car has a premium finish.

All hybrid cars can be heavy on petrol. It’s lugging a battery around and it’s heavy! There’s no avoiding this if you want a hybrid.

Boring? Well it’s a Volvo not a Porsche or Ferrari. Value for money looks good so why not? I prefer Audis or BMWs but the Volvo is well priced and looks good to me.

My friend has one and she loves it - she intends for it to be her forever car. She bought it after she spent months driving a courtesy car when her Ford Kuga hybrid failed big time.

I've got friends with 3 kids, who love thiers, we've just gone for the XC60 as need the bigger space despite having 2 kids as camp alot with kayaking gear and kayaks!
