Accompanying driver

Hi, I just passed my driving test in Dublin and I am going to apply for learner permit.
As per my knowledge, one has to take 12 mandatory driving classes which I will take but I have never driven before so I might need a bit more practice.
I am looking for someone to sit with me while I drive as per rules.
I have asked few of my friends but I don't want to bother them and I am wondering if there is any reasonable service of this kind (outside of professional driving schools) where you can pay the person per hour and they can be an accompanying driver. Professional driving schools will be very expensive for long term arrangements of this kind and that is why I am looking for alternatives.
So, the plan is to get 12 mandatory classes from the school and few more until I feel confident and then see if there is someone who might be willing if they get paid per hour.
Also, if there is another topic that is more suitable for this question please let me know. I will ask there as well. Thanks.

The best way to find out is to ring the driving schools around you and ask - if they don't, they may be able to put you in touch with someone who can help.
