Accidentally pulled out on someone

I Accidentally pulled out one someone in a 30mph road, after not seeing/noticing them while doing observations it was too late, there was no collision but they did have to slow down, they did not beep or have any incident of road rage, after putting my hand up to apologise we both drove off as normal, although it is my mistake and a genuine accident they seemed to be going above 30mph due to how quickly they came in, I am concerned they will report me for careless driving, I did not notice a dash cam and although they had to slow down nothing else came of it, what do you think?

Don't worry about it. Everyone makes driving mistakes. No one was hurt or injured. Just make sure you are paying better attention in future.

it is unlikely and even less likely the police would do anything. If they submit dash cam footage the police may send you a note asking you to be more careful but I doubt it.

Don't worry OP. This sort of thing happens all the time. There was no collision, the chance of them reporting you is very low.

Most drivers have all lost concentration and done similar at some point. I think incidents like this are a good thing in that no one was hurt but you've learnt a big lesson. It shows how easily accidents can happen.

I very much doubt the police would follow up even if they did have evidence, especially as there was no accident .

Sounds like you've been shaken by it but be kind to yourself, live and learn.

If you didn't do anything wrong & there was no issue why worry?
