Has Anyone Got A Lexus?

Hello all, I'm looking at getting a new used car and want a higher vantage point plus luxury. So have looked at small suvs such as BMW X1. The lexus (NX and LBX) is dearer but is it worth the extra? I intend to keep the car 10 years or longer if it ticks all the boxes.

Any thoughts appreciated.

I had two Lexus cars a while back. Specifications, reliability and customer service were all excellent. Much better than BMW

My Lexus RH400 (2007) is still going (fingers crossed for MOT) and I've had it 10 years from second hand. I would hate to have to buy a different brand which I still see as a downgrade. Second hand prices are crazy atm.

Think I need to arrange a test drive. There's a new model out the LBX but very strong used prices. So probably looking at an NX.

I love a Lexus. A few years ago I borrowed a friends IS. Beautiful car and she still has it now, never been a problem.

Did you order one in the end? We test-drove the LBX & NX. I loved the LBX, but DH wanted something bigger so we opted for the NX Sport 450. Waiting on delivery now! 😊

I got Lexus instead of x1 this year I was slow to change from bmw as it never gave me any trouble... I love my Lexus I have NH450+. Lexus customer service excellent too...I had a minor issue they collect car and I had it back the same day and never had a problem since. I would highly recommend.. it's comfortable and has great road holding and every extra you could want. The LBX is lovely car too just too small for my needs..

I test drove a 2018 X1 and it was tatty inside despite being top of the range. Put me right off. The 2018 lexus was like new despite higher miles.

When we last changed our car we weren't between the Lexus and a bmw. On paper I favoured the Lexus. But when I test drove it I thought it was dreadful. We got a bmw instead and it is the best car I've ever had.
