Can anyone recommend a shower stool that can sit a 14 stone person without buckling? Most of the online reviews are horrific, and companies who sell items for disabled folks/carers don't seem to have reviews. I've looked at dozens overnight, and most of them seem to have extremely flimsy looking aluminium legs.

It would be really helpful if it were either quite compact or foldable too (although the folding part seems to cause stability issues).

Slip/non slip not all that important - it's for a sort of stone floor. Just the ability to sit on it without it breaking, really.

Double bonus would be it not being too low as well.

Unfortunately, fitting one to the wall is just not feasible.

Mtia.

Is it a stool or chair you need? My mum got one through Occupational Therapy.

Ring your local authority and ask for a bathing assessment - they will send someone out from the OT team who will prescribe/ order the right kind of equipment.
