Just chased up an application I made 26/10/2024. After a surprisingly brief wait I spoke to a pleasant lady who immediately told me the wait time had gone up to 9 weeks.
After a short exchange where I cited the 6 weeks I had been quoted and the lack of any subsequent notice to my email or home address, we discussed my case.
Seems they did receive the documents I sent (because you never get a receipt) and the decision has been made to award and they are "just working out the amount". Knowing when to accept victory, I left it that 😀
However I thought people here might be interested in their 50% uplift on the suggested timescales.
