My son was receiving LRM and MRC from January 2023 and I did a change of circumstances this year due to him not sleeping much at night. I was told by sendco he would qualify for higher rate care so I put in a change of circumstances form to do this. The form was received on 15th June 2024. I received a payment today of £1108.40.

I worked out the difference between MRC and HRC is £35.90 a week. From the date the forms were received to today's date is 20 weeks. I think what I should have received is £718 so I am confused why I have been made this amount.

Can anybody work this out?

I did send some extra evidence for mobility just to update my evidence but he already receives LRM which I stated is what I think he qualifies for and I wasn't looking at the higher rate as I don't think he qualifies for this.

TIA
