Caters element backdate

Hi, wondering if anyone can help. I asked for backdate of my carers element as we was waiting for pip appeal result ( partner applied in march 2022 it went to tribunal in august and was awarded it September 2023) I got approved for backdated carers element and received this letter on my journal. Glad I got approved but very confused as my work coach only backdated it January 2023-November? instead of march 2022? Yet the decision maker says under special circumstances of late applying for it apply and it should be paid from the date of change? Very confused has this happened to anyone else???

Hi I m in the same situation need opinions I had meetin with my work coach and I exsplained my circumstances its hard to look for more work with looking after my 3cyear old working 15 hours a week already and caring for my grandmother i claim uc from 2021 my grandmother claims attendance allowance from 2022 grandmother I care for her more than 35 hours a week I live with her 5 weeks later I saw they had given me carers element award I then had a application sent to the dm on 22nd July for back dated payment any one now how thos works please and time it takes and if I will qualify I'd never hear of carers element
