DLA renewal

Have just sent off the forms for renewal, how long until it’s decided? Will I know before the end date? Is it likely to be awarded for the same amount of time, got a 5 year award before.

Four weeks for a "medical", then five to seven weeks for a decision.

I've just had to renew my PIP, am waiting for their decision now.
