I'm really hoping someone here can help me.

So i do the majority of caring for my Grandma and have recently registered and received LPA for Health and finances.
What do I do now?
Do I need to tell anyone e.g. bank, utilities, GP?

I really have no clue if I need to do anything. I've read the leaflets back to front but still have no idea

It's wise to register it with her bank, gp etc in advance of an emergency. It's very straightforward, just contact them and explain - they will want to see the original (so this is why its best to do it now as you need to send the original away to financial institutions that are not near you. (You should send it by secure post, and they will return it the same way) Obviously, your local bank etc you can do in person. They will 'register'it so that you can deal with them directly if your grandma is or becomes incapable.
