Not! I try every five years or so to put marmite on bread in the hope I will discover it's lovlieness. It hasn't happened yet it just tasted well beefy and salty.

Marmite is foodstuff of the Devil.

It's evil....eeeewwww.

PrettyCandles · 31/01/2007 11:02

I don't think it' s possible to become a convert to Marmite. You might, just conceivably, lose the taste for it - I do, to my dismay, with each pregnancy, but not after first craving it for 3 months!

PrettyCandles · 31/01/2007 11:03

I mean, but only after first craving it for 3 months!

Gingerbear · 31/01/2007 11:08

Marmite and strong cheddar on soft white rolls is the buisness!

MamaMaiasaura · 31/01/2007 14:43

suedonim · 31/01/2007 16:05

Yes! If there was no Marmite on toast you'd never get better from any illnesses, would you?

Pennies · 31/01/2007 17:52

I dipped raisins in marmite when I was pregant with DD1. Mmmmnmmmm

Jamantha · 31/01/2007 18:01

Yes please to Marmite!
And I did become a convert, PrettyCandles. As a student I had a friend sleep over on the sofa on a semi-regular basis, and in the morning when I was a bit worse for wear, I'd make toast & marmite for him, and then do the same for me because in my groggy state it was just too much effort to get the jam out 'n'all. (How pathetic do I sound?) After doing that half a dozen times I decided Marmite couldn't be all bad and started eating it regularly. Never looked back.

My DH says it cause low moral standards though
