I will soon be starting my first assignment as a live-in carer. I am very much looking forward to it, and the agency I am with will give me plenty of advice and back up.

However I'd like to hear from anyone who has employed live-in care or has worked as a live-in carer to brief me on what it might 'really' be like. Anything that might help me prepare for this new role.
Or a list of do's and don'ts.
I will be working 2 weeks on, two off, with a break every afternoon 2pm to 7pm. The job will be more housekeeping than hands on personal care.
