polystyrene for car seat

Hi, I have a britax elipse SI car seat for my little girl and the polystyrence that sits underneath the fabric has broke, does anyone know where I can get a replacement? x

got mine for maxi cosi through halfords, they had to order, took 6 weeks & was £13

You could probably get one from Britax? Worth a go?

yes, give britax a bell or call Halfords think they can order it in specially. I ordered new cover for our eclipse and it came about 10 days later

Has it broken just through wear and tear, or has it been in an accident at all? I am just thinking, the Eclipse is one of the slightly older seats and if it is more than a few years old, it might be worth getting a brand new seat instead.

We got a replacement from Britax; I just called their customer services line and they sorted it out. I only needed one of the inserts but they sent me a whole set and it came really quickly. I don't even think I had to pay for it either.

I have just happened to notice that the polystrene at the head around the sides has broken on my sons Eclipse whch is just over a year old.

Is it really that easy to get a replacement from britax.

the eclipse isn't an older seat,i just bought one for my son,

chandos - how much was the cover for the eclipse? i could be doing with a spare!
