Ds is uncomfortable in his Graco booster seat - can anyone advise on a comfortable one?

DS1 (6 in September) finds his Graco booster seat like this one but I paid twice that !

After about an hour he complains he has a sore back.

I've bought an extra neck cushion but that doesn't seem to help.

I could buy him another, but with no guarantee he won't find it uncomfortable too for long journeys.

We often drive long distances for holidays so need something comfy for him.

Thanks

My dc are all verycomfortable intheir Britax seats. They sleep easily in them on long journeys.

But befor you go to the expense of buying a new seat, try getting a clip-on footrest. That might solve the problem. I can't remember where we got ours, but I'll have a surf around and try and find a URL for you.

We use britax for both dd's (age 4 and 6). I think we got them for a good price on Kiddicare.

we have this for DS1 he likes it and does regular long journeys/sleep in it,

we didn't get it from halfords and I don't think we paid that much though

Thank you all. I might take him into a shop to try some - footrest sounds interesting PC?

my 3 and 6 year olds are in the maxi cosi rodi xr and they look comfortable in them - they can be pricey though. DD has also had the britax hi-liner and sat for a 6 hour+ journey with no complaints: hi-liner
