As the title says really.
Has anyone bought a Nania Baby carrier - suitable from birth via the Ebay seller Bestbuy4baby ?
It seems really cheap at just under £30 and wondered if it was any good? Thanks

From past experience the nania seats in general aren't very good. You get what you pay for in car seats and I would always recommend going for one which has the highest safety rating.

Noo don't touch Nania seats. If you want a cheap seat without compromising safety, the Mothercare travel tot (about £50, but can sometimes get deals on it - and much cheaper than the top brands) is very good and is made by Dorel (the same company as Maxi Cosi). It's not very padded but it's nice and roomy - DS has fitted in it until 18 months. It's lighter than a lot of other seats too so you can carry the baby around in it until an older age.

Thanks for the advice - I'll have a look at the Mothercare site.
Bertie, why do you say not to touch the nania seats though out of interest ?

My sister recently bought a Nania car seat, it was rubbish, it didnt fit in her car, and the handbar could be twisted with little effort. it was made from the thinnest plastic ever.

They are just really flimsy and hard to fit - they don't look like they would offer much protection in a crash at all. Worth the extra £10-20 for the mothercare seat I'd say. Or if you haven't got the pushchair yet, sometimes you can get a good deal with a travel system, ie car seat and pushchair package.

Just ordered the Mothercare Seat - using code EPT - got £5 off and saved £5 on delivery!! So £45 all in!!
Many Thanks.

Good deal I paid £45 for mine too and as I say, it has lasted 18 months, so a very good deal IMO!

The one on the website now looks more padded than the one I had in fact - so even better
