Car seats for use in a Mitsubishi Pajero?

I need 1 group 1 car seat for a 1 yr old and a group 2/3 car seat for a very tall 4 yr old.

Mothercare and Halfords haven't been very helpful, saying that our seatbelts are too short. Can I have new seat belts fitted if this is the case?

Does anyone else have a Pajero (mines a P reg) and if so, which seats do you use?

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks

hi sorr don't have this car but you could call the in car safety centre. they may have experience with fitting seats in it. they're much more helpful than either mothercare or halfords. ds is 21 months and has the britax two way elite. this has an alternative seatbelt rote for shorter seat belts. the maxi cosi rodii sps i have ahd has fitted well in every car i've used it in apart from my 206 which had a bump on the edge of the seat iykwim which meant it didn't sit flat. other than that it's been great. www.incarsafetycentre.co.uk

I have used maxi cosi car seats in my pajero (M reg) from the Cabrio to the Priori and finally now on the Rodi.
