She LOVES it.

Thought I would share since many people in RL and on MN questionned whether their toddler would accept rear-facing after forward facing for so long.

DD is 2.10yo, 96cm, weighs over 16kg and has forward faced since 9mo. She's now the proud owner of a Britax Two Way Elite which is installed in my Honda CRV, and the best part is I didn't have to move my front seat an inch to accomodate rear facing. And she loves having loads more legroom than when she was FF, no dangling legs, no losing toys or snacks over the edge of her seat into the abyss of the footwell.

Oh, and my new seat is a gorgeous red/black number. And was a piece of cake to fit.

And I forgot to mention - it'll last her until she is 6yo/25kg so I'll get as much use out of it as a FF group 1 seat used from 9mo-4yo.

glad she likes it. we have this seat and ds loves it too! i'm not sure why people are so negative about it.

This sounds like blatant advertising to me.

SherryMerryLennipillar · 11/11/2009 16:47

Yep - it is blatent advertising because I think rear facing seats should be more widely available and would end up being more widely used. I had never even heard of them until I posted on MN last week here about my DD who is just about to outgrow her Group 1 FF seat and I was recommended a high back booster in Mothercare for a 2.10yo. I was pretty shocked when I travelled with her in it as she was lolling about and it would have been horrendous in an accident with her not sat upright. She could also get out of the seat. Definitely not mature enough for a booster.

I loved my 2 way elite too it was a yummy pink & grey - just as well I had a dd!

cargirl where did you get the pink and grey one? my 3 yo mindee would love this cover!

Seed, do you think Britax plants people to advertise on their behalf??? I could understand your skepticism if the op had recommended a store/retailer. So often we miss the point of value of a post because we are so cynical.
