Best car seat options for a 4-year-old who keeps escaping?

I have a tall 4.75 year old boy (awaiting neuropsychological assessment) who is constantly escaping seatbelts! We have a 5 point harness one from Halfords with a little besafe strap holder but he undoes it all very quickly and easily. With the Cybex HBB we have he can’t reach the button to undo but he easily stretches the belt and wriggles out.

Does anyone have any recommendations or seats or contraptions to keep him safely in his seat?

These are recommended and widely used in the SEN world

Yes I would probably look at a SEN restraint - the In Car Safety Centre are one place which can advise.

If he's tall then he is likely over the weight/height limit for the harness in the seat you have unless it is Joie Bold or the old Cozy n Safe Hudson. And if the issue is likely to continue then he will outgrow any standard longer-lasting solution fairly quickly, so it makes sense to look at a longer term option.
