Hi,
Soon to be first time mum and dad in need of some advice.

we have got the panorama XT travel system and have only just realised that it isn’t isofix compatible.

so we have two questions- would the panorama XTi car seat be compatible with the chassis of the XT???

or is there a “adaptor” of sorts that we can get to make our XT car seat isofix compatible?

many thanks in advance x

Sorry I have no advice on that particular brand. But there's a really good car seat safety page on Facebook that's worth joining and asking on there. I cant find a link for it but it's called- Car Seat Advice UK. Loads of helpful information on there!

I can't figure out what the car seat is actually called - can you add a picture of the orange label to the post?

If you have adapters which look like one of these at the top end, these are examples of "universal" car seat adapters, they work with a variety of brands e.g. Cybex, Maxi Cosi, Britax, Avionaut so if you wanted to change the car seat, you're not stuck with only Babylo seats.

Just to reassure you, isofix is no safer than belt fitting. If a car seat is belt fitted properly, it is perfectly safe. Isofix is only really useful for convenience.
