Overthinking it

We need to buy a high back booster for our child who is now appropriate age/height/weight for it. We do have a rather small, 3 door car, so something compact would be the best. After a bit of research the Maxi Cosi Rodifix Pro2 ticked all the boxes and seemed like a good fit. However, just checked the ADAC testing and it only scores as "satisfactory" in safety tests... Does it rule it out?.. What would be an alternative? Cybex Solution ones seem to be much bigger/wider. Maybe Britax Kidfix? Anything else I'm missing?

We have a BeSafe Flex Fix 2 which I think is one of the narrowest.

The fit of the car seat to your car and your child is more important than the exact score from ADAC. I'd be happy with a Maxi Cosi seat as I think they are designed well. I do see what you mean about the score for that particular model, but I can't find a crash test video for it so not really sure.

Britax also do well in the test, but you have to go for the pricier models if you don't mind compromising on comfort - their cheaper models are very lacking in padding. Kidfix is OK - Adventure/Hi-Liner/Discovery are a bit hard.

Thank you both for the reply. I think the best option will be for us to go and see them in the actual shop first...
