3 in the back

Hi everyone.
i am pregnant with our third baby, we have two children currently forward facing in the back of a 2019 Nissan Quashquai.

is it possible to fit a baby seat and two other forward facing seats in the back?
i am open to buying a slimmer car seats for the two older children, so any recommendations are welcome for baby seats and booster seats with backs.

buy a new car would not really be and option and the very very last resort

The Qashqai from 2013-2020 does not allow any type of carseat on the centre seat. Sorry OP

Multimac! Google it. Saved us from buying a new car. Worth the cost buying new - ended up costing us maybe &150 over 5 year period.

There's no carseat allowed in centre seat, either on a Multimac or not..

The Multimac would probably override that since it's not being fitted in the seat itself. You'd have to ask their fitting team. Not a terrible option if both the older children are already forward facing - it's not great for extended rear facing though.

Quashqais are a PITA for car seats unfortunately. A shame they are marketed as a family car.

One option if you can disable the airbag is to put the youngest child in the front in a belt fitted rear facing seat. First an infant carrier if you like, then one of the Joie/Graco seats or the Swedish type ERF - Axkid, Avionaut, Britax.

We have a different car and couldn't make it work with our three, that being said only one is forward facing yet.

Our baby goes in the front belted in with the airbag off and I sit in the middle back between the two older kids.

How old are the kids?👦🏼

is there a reason for this? as the middle seat has a seatbelt.

The manuals don't generally give a reason, they will just say whether a carseat is allowed or not
