I have no retailers in my area where I would be able to see how this fits in my car, pergeot 2008, I can find the specifications online however not for the size when the seat is reclined which I have been told I would need to as LG is 10 months. She is very tall so like the idea of the long back length lasting her. However am concerned about space my both me and my partner are also tall. Does anyone know how much space this takes up when it is reclined?

Have you contacted an independent retailer? You wouldn’t have to see them in person but they may have some images, and will certainly have experience of fitting this seat in your model of car.

When it's reclined due to LO's age, you won't need the extended leg room or for the headrest to be extended, so I think you'll find it is compact enough. They are really small seats front to back. Agree a retailer would likely be familiar with the car as they are popular cars.

It's being fitted in a Corsa in this video which is surely smaller than a 2008.

I am going off the retailers on the axkid website. The closest place to me is an 1.5 hours away and is a shop on the highstreet so wouldn't be able yo see how it fits. I know the seat is okay for my car on paper but so was the cabriofix which left very little room in the front seat.

We have had Minikid seats on full recline in two Ford Fiestas, they are fairly compact seats.

You could try contacting the retailer as some will meet you halfway, some shops also have a private car park you can bring your car into. Would defo confirm in advance though, you don't want to drive all that way for nothing.
