Looking at getting a new seat for my high percentile almost 3 year old.
Have searched the internet and narrowed down to the joie I bold or I irvanna.

Does anyone know what one is better?
Are there any major differences?

thanks 🙂

Hi OP,
Is your child high centiles for height and weight? The harness on both of these seats is outgrown at 105cm and then you have to use the regular car seat belt. You’d ideally be aiming for at least 5 for this which you may not reach with a high height centile child.
There are some ERF seats that harness up to 125cm and 36kg which would easily get you to 5 years, even with a high centile child. Have a look at the Britax Maxsafe Pro, BeSafe Stretch or Axkid Minikid 4.

Neither of them are good for a high centile child because of the 105cm harness limit. What's your DC's age (with months) and height/weight at the moment?

You could look for an original Joie Bold/Joie Bold R or the old (R44) Cozy n Safe Hudson. There aren't any forward facing R129 seats with a longer lasting harness at the moment. There are some rear facing seats as well as PP said Smile Britax Max Safe Pro seems to be the most budget friendly at the moment, £175 in some colours.
