No idea what these are?

Unpacked new car seat yesterday - Joie Irvana and inside the cup holder were two plastic pieces no idea what they are or how to attach- any one have any idea? No manual only online videos can’t see anything about them.

You put them in the isofix slots in the car upholstery to stop the fabric getting worn by the metal teeth that attach the seat to the isofix rings.

They are isofix guides. In some cars, the isofix points are really easy to find and might even have plastic guides like this already in place. In this case you don't need the guides.

In some cars they are really deep inside very stiff seat cushions, so having a plastic guide to hold the cushions apart and make the isofix attachment points easier to find is helpful. (Someone once described this as a "speculum but for isofix" and I have never forgotten it!)

They are not necessary, you can use them if you want to but if you get a good fit without, they are not needed. They are also fully interchangeable between brands and you can buy generic ones on amazon as they don't affect the safety of the car seat at all. It's literally just for convenience, and they are becoming obsolete now as most newer cars have very obvious, accessible isofix points.

Isofix arms won't usually cause damage to the seat fabric so they aren't really needed for that purpose.
