Bumped car against pole in car park - car seat question?

Hi all,
I was out shopping today at Morrisons and when pulling in to a child friendly space at the car park, I accidentally bumped the front of my car into the metal pole in front of the space. I was going slow at around 10pm or even less. My car is quite high so didn’t see it clearly.

The car is absolutely fine (no bumps/dents/scratches) and none of us sustained injuries. My little boy let out a little cry but think it was because my other half reacted and there was a noise when the pole and car hit. He’s quite the thing and happy now.

I know there are lots of rules around car seats etc. if they are involved in an accident/bump. I’m now questioning if we need to replace the car seat in this instance?

Sorry, this may seem like a pathetic question but just wanting to do the right thing. From an OTT first time dad.

I wouldn't replace the car seat in the scenario you have had.

Do you think the car seat was damaged in any way? Sounds like a very minor bump - I wouldn't change it

Thank you for the reassurance. You seem a lot of conflicting information these days on every parenting issue so thank you for this.

No. The car seat will be fine.

I wouldn't for a 10mph or less minor bump,

Absolutely not!
