Hi there, open to help please.... my little boy is 104cm in height, 16.8kgs (3yrs and 8 months old) I am looking at the Jovikids Portable Folding i-Size Highback Booster with ISOFIX for a car seat whilst travelling this summer.

There seem to be a lot of seats out there that are just boosters and don't look like they are very safe. I want safety but also something that folds down to be able to travel on planes with etc. Thanks x

Personally I would not look at a Jovikids one because I find their safety questionable. He is quite young for a HBB but if you need one for travel, I would look at either Becool Foldy, Recaro Monza CFX, or the Maxi Cosi Tanza i-size, as these are more reputable brands.

If you wanted the security of a harness then you could look at Joie Elevate R129 or Cozy n Safe Hudson (for this one, not the i-size) for some budget but unfortunately not folding options. Graco Slimfit R129 is also worth a look as it has the additional benefit of rear facing for the harness stage, again no fold though. All three of these convert to a HBB so can be used later without the harness.

If money is no object you could look at Tinyseats or Tinyseats 2, this has the folding function, rear facing, harness, isofix, and converts to HBB so you can continue using it, but it is expensive.
