My DD is due ti go up to the next seat from her Cabriofix, we're getting the Joie Stages for our car however any recommendations for something slightly cheaper for grandparents car? Absolute minefield!

I'd get exactly the same as what you're getting in yours tbh. If it's the best seat in your opinion why wouldn't you want one just as safe in the grandparents car?

I’d prob see if I could get one second hand from someone I knew and trusted hadn’t been in an accident

if you’re anywhere in south London you’d be welcome to ours!

The Joie Stages is probably about as cheap as I would go TBH. But around £100 you could look at Graco Extend LX R129 (not the original Graco Extend) or Graco Turn2Me is about £150.

How old is she? If she is under 15 months then she needs to be rear facing, and it's recommended to stay rear facing longer than this if possible. The above seats (and Joie Stages) allow for rear facing up to approx 4 years.
