Zafira Tourer - 3 car seats

Has anyone managed to fit 3 car seats across the middle row of a Vauxhall/Opal Zafira Tourer (the 2016-2018 model, not the older Tourer model or the old Zafira)?

ZTs are a lot cheaper than other cars that fit 3 car seats (VW Touran, SEAT Alhambra, Ford S-Max etc). I think ZTs stopped being made in 2018 but we can get one at a good price.

Some of the reviews say it will fit 3 seats on middle row, some say the middle seat is too narrow. I know the middle seat doesn't have Isofix but that's not a deal-breaker if it can fit a childseat using the seat belt.

Several photos/options here. It will likely depend on what seats you have and what types of seat your children need? However looks like there should be a workable option for sure. For fitting 3 across, you generally have to play a bit of tetris, it is less about overall width of seats but the shapes of them fitting together, and the side seats aren't always identical so it's worth trying each side separately too. We don't have 3x child seats to fit in but 2x child seats + 1x teen or adult, and with the 3 possible seats (one with base) that we had, there was only 1 possible combination and it had to be with the side seat on one specific side because of the position of the middle seatbelt.

Oh hang on, that says the Zafira Tourer specifically doesn't allow a seat in the middle. Which might scupper things a bit.

This isn't what you asked, but we have just got a newish Ford mondeo ad could fit 3 seats across the middle, HB booster in the middle

Seems like Multimac might be your best option, it’s definitely the safest way to fit all 3 kids in the Zafira without Isofix on the middle seat
