Ickle bubba Galaxy - any idea if it fits a Mercedes’ GLC?

I’m nearly 5 months pregnant and have just starting looking into the alarmingly pricey world of prams and car seats. The Isofix car seats I’m finding especially tricky - only the really expensive ones seem to be listed as fitting our car! Does anyone have any idea if the Ickle Bubba Galaxy Isofix base fits a Mercedes GLC? The makers of neither can tell us!! It says it’s universal fit- but I’m not sure how universal these things actually are!

Universal refers to seatbelt fitting and it just means that it doesn't need anything extra, it doesn't necessarily mean that the seatbelt will be long enough and you won't have any belt issues like buckle crunch. It's a bit of a confusing term - it dates back from when car seats had to be bolted in and seatbelt fitting was a new idea, but it's still present in the current legislation.

Can you go to a dealer and try it out in your car? That is usually the best thing to do. You could also try some other brands but cheaper models, if they are compatible with your pram.
