Seatbelt fitting car seat for 12month old

Our DD is soon going to grow out of her infant car seat. We live in London and don't have a car - the infant car seat (we had a maxi-cosi pebble 360) attached to the pram chassis has made our lives so much easier with taking taxis to visit relatives and we are pretty sad that it's coming time to move on.

Our dilemma is that with taking taxis, i don't think we can risk an isofix base car seat in case we have issues fitting it at the road side. Does anyone have any recommendations for seatbelt fitting car seats? We have a Joie Spin 360 isofix in GP's car so i was thinking maybe the Joie Baby Stages Group 0+/1/2 might be a good alternative for us? I also liked the idea of this one as it's rear facing to age 4, by which time we should have hopefully bought a car of our own and we can upgrade to an isofix one.

Open to recommendations of other or thoughts on the Joie!

My sister is similar - no car of their own but regularly get zip cars etc.

They have a Joie stages which she recommends, easy to get in and out and light(for a car seat!) to carry.

Have a look at 'car seat advice UK' or 'extended rear facing car seat safety' Facebook groups and ask on there. Helpful and knowledgeable admins who will probably be able to recommend or you can search the group as I'm sure I've seen similar questions asked before. Having an idea of your baby's weight and height centiles will help as the stages is rear facing to 18kg which some children outgrow before aged 4. Also maybe look at how heavy it is if you're going to be having to carry it around..cant remember if that is a heavy one or not off the top of my head. Would be interesting to compare it to the new axkid mini kid 3 which is supposed to be super quick to belt install but I imagine it is quite heavy.. but it would last until DC is 25kg. Hope those groups help and hope you find what you're looking for!

Thank you both! DD is below 25th centile for weight (she was a teeny 5lbs 12oz at birth but has jumped up a couple of centiles since weaning) but she is long - 75th for length. Our infant car seat is supposed to last to 15months but i think she's getting too long for it already so keen to get this sorted. Will check out those groups.

The Stages is definitely a good option for this situation. Also look at Joie Steadi and Tilt. The Tilt is really light but it is a bit shorter in the shell.
