Hi
after hours of scouring the internet I thought I would try here. Does anyone know of a swivel/rotating car seat suitable from newborn that goes in the car using the seatbelt to attach instead of isofix. Older car without isofix!

As far as I’m aware, all of the spin seats are isofix. If it’s for a newborn though, the spin feature usually isn’t so useful, as you can get them ready in the house and just click them into the base. Joie do a belted base, but it doesn’t swivel.

No it's not a thing. If you think about it, it needs to be free standing ie isofix in order to rotate. The strap around the sides and back of the seat wouldn't allow for rotation.

@toddlingthroughtoddlerhood you can have isofix bars fitted to older cars though, could that be an option?

You can only have isofix fitted to some specific models of Ford, most cars don't allow it. And don't touch those universal isofix kits they have on dodgy websites (including amazon sadly) - they are direct drop ships from China and probably meet no safety standard.
