John Lewis own brand car seats

Does anyone know if they manufacture these themselves or if they put their branding on ones made by a reputable manufacturer? Are they well tested like Maxi-Cosi/Britax/Joie etc or just to the legal minimum?

They're generic ones made by a generic seat manufacturer, not Joie/Maxi Cosi etc. Seems to be a mix of Team Tex (France) and another (possibly Asian?) company.

Thanks Bertie. I just looked at Team Tex France's website and the brands they make I recognised were Nania and Disney - not ones I would buy.

Yes team tex seats are pretty basic.

I would avoid the John Lewis own brand car seats. Stick to Cybex, joie, Axkid, avionaut, britax, maxi cosi.
