Doesn't lay flat

I have a VW Touareg and I have recently fitted my silvercross dream isofix but it doesn't sit flat to the seat like I thought it would. It's supposed to light up green when secure but it only lights up green when the seat is on the base not when we remove the seat. I have no idea how to sort this. We have a few weeks before the baby is here and I'm glad I put it in early as we aren't sure if that's how it's meant to be or not. Any help/advice would be great. I can't seem to find any shops or garages I can take my car to for help as we bought it on the silvercross website.

Send an email to Silver Cross with a video or picture of what is happening attached and they should be able to help.

I can't tell what's happening from your description. Do you mean that the base doesn't sit flat on your car's back seat? It's OK for it to be raised up off the seat at the end where the isofix arms click in, but it should touch the seat at the edge of the seat. You might need to adjust the length of the support leg perhaps.
