Does the Maxi Cosi Rock fit on an older style Maxi Cosi FamilyFix base?

Hi all, I have an older style isofix FamilyFix base that I bought in 2015 for my first baby. I now need to get a new car seat, as the straps on our old one have gone mouldy. I'm looking at the Maxi Cosi Rock, but am a bit confused as to whether it will only fit on to the new bases, or whether all maxi cosi car seats fit on all their bases?

I've contacted Maxi Cosi, but am yet to get a response so just wondered whether anyone has had any luck doing something similar? I'd rather not have to go the expense of getting a new base as well if I don't have to! Thank you!

I believe it does not, as it was compatible with the 2way fix when that was available instead. From what I can find it appears that only the Pearl, Pebble (not the pro/plus) and Cabriofix are compatible. The regular/old pebble has been discontinued and when I last checked was out of stock on the Maxi Cosi outlet so I’d go for the cabriofix if you wanted to keep the Family Fix

No they are not all compatible.

The only infant carrier that goes on the FamilyFix base is the Cabriofix, it also only takes the forward facing version of the Pearl toddler seat. So long term you may want a different base that allows for a rear facing toddler seat as it is now recommended to keep them rear facing for longer anyway.

You can see the chart for yourself here:

(I'm almost certain that the Pearl One does NOT go on the original FamilyFix though, I wonder if that's a mistake?? Mind you, you can't buy it anywhere so it's totally moot!)

Looking at the chart again I think the tick for the Pearl One should be under the Familyfix One / 2wayfix base column, that's where it was in their previous chart before they added the new 360 base.

Thanks all for your replies. @BertieBotts I didn't find that chart originally, so that was useful! I think it looks like it'll be best to get another Cabriofix!
